THE COSTA DE LA LUZ
The Atlantic coastline of Europe has attracted successive generations of settlers due to its geographical position at the gateway to The World. Its coastline of dotted estuaries has provided sanctuary to centuries of fishermen and sailors. Today it can boast to be one of the most economic areas to own recreative boats.
The current settlements can be traced back to prehistoric times, but the Romans and Moors expanded the area and their footprint is left in the evidence of older buildings in all the local towns and harbors.
The attraction today is no different and the modern motorway network connects this region to all of Europe that makes access easy and affordable. The international airport in Faro provides many options for flights from and to European cities, 20% less than the same flights to Malaga.
